Memphis, TN (October 5, 2009) – Wilsonart Flooring and racquetball fans from around the country will be celebrating the 14th anniversary of the sport’s premiere event – the US OPEN Racquetball Championships – in Memphis from October 21 – 25, 2009.

Held at The Racquet Club of Memphis, this year’s feature matches will be played on the world’s only “made-for-TV” portable racquetball court. Among the court’s many unique construction features are four clear LUCITE acrylic walls, stadium seating for 2,000 spectators, and Wilsonart® Flooring in Carolina Ash – an incredibly durable, High Pressure Laminate (HPL) floor that has proven itself a true champion in the tournaments for the past 14 years.

Chosen for its outstanding performance and authentic wood look, Wilsonart Flooring will set the stage for the world’s top players from the men’s, women’s and senior pro tours as they compete for the largest purse in the sport – $65,000+.

More than 600 amateur division players will compete in age and skill divisions for every level. The event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
