Gibraltar® Solid Surface Offers 37 Striking Colors and Designs Applicable in Commercial and Residential Settings

Thirty-seven colors and patterns are sure to make any décor stand out, from famous kitchens and hospital operating rooms to high-traffic shopping centers.
Gibraltar can be used in residential and commercial applications for countertops, back splashes, vanity tops, partitions, workspaces and more. Thirty-seven Gibraltar designs are offered in three pattern options including Solid, Fine and Rich. Patterns range from solid, mid-size and large variegated particulate stone-like patterns. Gibraltar offers a consistent color quality and covers a wide spectrum from off-whites to mid-tones and rich colors in brown, caramel, clay, green and blue, such as Aspen Melange, Baja Melange, Copper Melange and Cascades Melange.
"An alternative to natural and engineered stone, Gibraltar is easy to customize, requires no sealing and can withstand the wear- and-tear of daily usage," said Mike Weddington, director of marketing, Wilsonart Solid Surface. "And unlike a natural stone, this product is ideal for food service, hospitals and public restrooms areas." It's also renewable by the owner and seamlessly repairable by a fabricator.
The product line offers many attributes including a high-quality look, easy maintenance, in addition to a waterproof, seamless appearance. Because of its strength, Gibraltar requires no sealing and is resistant to heat, mold, bacteria and mildew, as well as approved for food preparation by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in hospitals and public places.
The Gibraltar product line is mineral-filled, and made of continuous cast-acrylic sheets designed for horizontal and vertical use. Gibraltar is available in 1/2-inch-thick sheets and strips, and in sheet sizes ranging from 30" and 60" widths to 144" in length. The product carries a 10-year limited warranty, which is transferable for residential applications. Since Gibraltar colors and patterns are solid throughout, they cannot fade or wear away. Slight scratches or burns can simply be buffed away with a Scotch-Brite® pad or non-abrasive household cleaners such as Fantastik® and Formula 409® may also be used.
Gibraltar can be elegantly sculpted into a wide range of edge details. Classic Ogee, Bullnose and Single or Double Roundover profiles are just a few of the many options available. In addition, Wilsonart offers a full line of solid surface kitchen sinks and vanity bowls that come in a variety of styles, from double- to utility- and lavatory-size bowls. These undermount sinks offer a smooth, seamless transition between countertop and bowl. Because these sinks are seamlessly bonded, bacteria and mildews are not a factor.
Gibraltar is available through a nationwide distribution network of selected, certified Wilsonart installers. Installed prices begin at $60 per square foot.
