Estate Plus™ Features Lifetime Warranty

TEMPLE, TX - Wilsonart Flooring is creating a new category in residential flooring. Using the most advanced technology, Wilsonart has unveiled a new premium residential flooring product called Estate Plus™. Thanks to this new technology, Wilsonart is able to offer a lifetime warranty for this line of residential flooring. The warranty covers wear, stain, fade and water damage.

Elements of Wilsonart Estate Plus include:

• Scuffshield™ Plus, a new high performance wear layer. Exclusive to Estate Plus, it is wear, stain and fade resistant, which adds increased durability in high traffic areas. The crystalline surface promotes design clarity and definition, increasing the realistic look of the woodgrain and tile patterns available in the design line.
• An acoustic attenuation layer offers excellent sound deadening properties. This decreases noise transmission - both above and below floor level.
• Greycore™ is a technologically revamped inner core. It combines enhanced strength and moisture resistance for demanding environments.
• The LB2™ bottom balancing layer provides additional impact reinforcement. This maintains the structural integrity of the individual panels, as well as the overall installation.

Wilsonart's Tap-N-Lock™ glueless technology is a dual-locking tongue-and-groove design. It offers faster, non-angled installation, and eliminates peaking for a smooth, even-level finish.

The double tongue-and-groove edges are treated with a hot wax-oil emulsion. “The oil acts as a carrier, helping the wax emulsion penetrate deeply into the high density fiberboard core,” says Tarver. “The hot system allows the use of the most technically advanced medium to protect the core from spills and accidents. Cold systems don't offer the same protection.”

The quick and easy, non-angled installation technique makes it easier to install around doors and tight corners. An additional advantage with Tap-N-Lock is the decreased amount of clean up required after installation.
